Job Purpose

The General Worker will assist in maintenance operations, focusing on:

• Completing job-specific tasks and checklists accurately.
• Conducting visual inspections of the work environment to ensure safety standards are maintained.
• Applying standard operating procedures (SOPs) to uphold housekeeping standards.
• Collaborating effectively with the team to achieve operational goals.
• Identifying cost-saving initiatives and reporting all task activities.
• Assisting artisans with daily tasks.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or N3 qualification is mandatory.
• A valid driver’s license is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the mining industry is preferred.
• Experience with conveyors is a plus (12 months plant experience preferred).

• Ability to interpret written instructions and work effectively with technical information.
