Job Description
Bidvest Facilities Management seeks a detail-oriented Data Capturer to join our Corporate division. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing financial data following invoices and reconciliations and following up on outstanding invoices.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the validity of tax invoices.
- Accurately and timely capture financial data from supplier invoices.
- Ensure that invoice details align with the condition scope.
- Identify and flag significant discrepancies between interim invoices and actual invoices for correction by the Team Leader.
- Collect outstanding invoices by contacting suppliers via telephone or email.
- Request and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Highlight instances of sudden high consumption before data capturing.
- Follow up on invoices with zero consumption.
- Ensure all processed invoices are date-stamped and scanned onto the server.
- Update any rebilling invoices as necessary.
- Build and maintain relationships with councils.
- Ensure timely filing of documents.
- Maintain data integrity by correctly reversing interims.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of data capturing experience.
- Education: Diploma or Certificate in Finance.
- Skills:
- Sound knowledge of accounting practices.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook.
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
