Job Description
As a Merchandiser, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that store shelves are well-stocked, visually appealing, and accurately priced to enhance customer attraction and sales. This role involves hands-on training and mentorship, allowing you to develop practical skills essential for a successful career in merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Count and document stock to be merchandised
- Unpack and document received stock
- Organize and display products to attract customers
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels
- Adjust displays to align with promotional activities
- Utilize creative ideas to enhance product visibility
- Ensure product quality and report damages
- Remove expired or damaged products and replace with new stock
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams
- Design and implement attractive store displays
- Maintain cleanliness in the merchandising area
Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Must have a smartphone
- Clear criminal record
- Reside within 15 km of the job location
- Proficiency in English
Preferences
