A well-established retail hardware and building company is seeking to hire a Driver Code (B) / General Assistant. This role is essential for ensuring the safe transportation of personnel and materials while supporting daily operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Transportation: Safely transport personnel and materials as requested, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
• Loading and Unloading: Ensure correct loading and unloading of goods, verifying that all items are accounted for and in good condition.
• Documentation: Submit delivery documents to the receiver, check the status of delivered goods, and return completed documents to the manager.
• Purchasing and Delivery: Assist with purchasing activities and manage delivery tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but not mandatory.
• Driver’s License: A valid Code B driver’s license is required.
