Job Description

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouses. Your key duties will include:

• Recording any damaged goods.
• Loading vehicles in an organized and careful manner.
• Delivering stock to stores in a timely manner.
• Ensuring correct stock is delivered to the specific store.
• Receiving orders from suppliers and checking them in correctly.
• Labeling and packing stock in an orderly manner.
• Picking and dispatching orders to be sent out to stores daily.
• Relocating and re-stacking goods to make space for new deliveries.
• Maintaining the tidiness of the warehouse.
• Assisting with the preparation of stock takes.

Requirements and Skills

• Education: National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed).
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role.
• Citizenship: South African citizen.
• Criminal Record: No criminal record.
• Skills:
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Good time management skills.
