Nursing Diploma Program Admission
About Us:
The Lilitha College of Nursing is seeking applications for its Basic 3-year Diploma in Nursing Science program. We are looking for young, compassionate, and caring individuals who are passionate about nursing and eager to embark on a fulfilling career in the healthcare profession or advance their current nursing status, especially those who have been granted study leave by their current employer.
Requirements:
Application Letter: A well-written application letter demonstrating your commitment and interest in the nursing profession.
Educational Qualifications: You must possess a Certified Grade 12 Certificate with an aggregate of D or E/S (750 or above in the old grading system) and meet the minimum requirements for admission into the Diploma in Nursing. Your certificate must include English Level 4 and above or a D symbol in the old grading system and Biology (Life Sciences) Level 4 and above or a D symbol in the old certificates.
Additional Science Subjects: Other science subjects (Physical Science, Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy, Geography, Life Orientation) are highly advantageous, as we will utilize the Admission Point System with a minimum point requirement of 24 to select candidates.
Study Leave Approval: For government employees, include a certified copy of study leave or a letter from your supervisor indicating that study leave is being processed.
Identification: Provide a certified copy of your ID.
Marriage Certificate: If married, submit a certified copy of your marriage certificate.
CV: Include a CV with contactable references and a clear physical address indicating your town, farm, or village of origin as a catchment area.

Age Limits:
The age limit for the 3-year Diploma program is 45 years for matriculants and 55 years for serving officers currently practicing within the Eastern Cape Department of Health on registration with Lilitha College of Nursing.
