Job Purpose:
Nedbank is looking for a Financial Planner in Durban to provide expert financial advice and wealth creation strategies to our clients. Your role is essential in making Nedbank the preferred choice for banking. As a Financial Planner, you will play a crucial role in understanding clients’ financial needs and creating customized financial plans to help them achieve their objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis: Analyze clients’ financial statuses comprehensively. This includes assessing their expenses, income, insurance coverage, financial goals, tax status, risk tolerance, and any other pertinent information necessary to create a tailored financial plan.
Financial Planning: Develop personalized financial solutions and strategies designed to enhance our clients’ financial well-being, thereby helping them plan for life’s various stages.
Implementation Assistance: Assist clients in executing their financial plans and guide them through financial transactions to ensure their goals are met.
Regular Review: Continuously review and adapt clients’ portfolios and financial plans to accommodate changes in their life circumstances, economic conditions, and evolving financial needs.
Regulatory Knowledge: Stay current with financial regulations, industry practices, and product developments to maintain your fit and proper status.
Financial Plan Presentation: Demonstrate proficiency in structuring, presenting, and reviewing financial plans, both to individual clients and legal entities.
Product Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge of approved products and services, consistently update your expertise on product and industry advancements.
Compliance: Understand and adhere to industry and bank regulations and ensure full compliance with them.
Business Growth: Work towards building a sustainable and profitable financial planning practice.
Relationship Building: Actively participate in and attend all business engagements to establish and strengthen client relationships.
