Programme Information
Our Learnership Programme
The MiWay Learnership Programme is an entry-level transformation initiative designed to create a sustainable pipeline of talented individuals. These individuals will help our business meet its objectives by addressing the current skills gap in the financial services sector.
Through this learnership, participants will have the opportunity to earn a qualification and become eligible to take the FSCA regulatory exams RE5. Successful completion of the programme will allow learners to apply for professional membership in the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) under the designation category of IISA Member (MIISA).
The MiWay Learnership Programme provides a comprehensive learning experience that combines practical knowledge transfer, structured work experience, and training with an accredited training provider.
Requirements
To qualify for the MiWay Learnership Programme, you must meet the following criteria:
Possession of a Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum pass mark of 50% for English and a Second Language.
A minimum pass mark of 40% for Mathematics or a minimum pass mark of 60% for Mathematics Literacy.
South African citizenship.
Currently unemployed.
Aged between 18 and 35.
Less than 1 year of work experience.
Persons with a disability must provide a medical note confirming the nature of the disability.
Applicants must not be enrolled in any other educational institutions while participating in the learnership.
Applicants must not have previously participated in a Short-Term Insurance Learnership through INSETA.

Turnaround Time
The shortlisting process for this learnership will commence once the application due date is reached. The time required to complete this process will depend on your progress and the availability of managers. Please note that applications will close on October 27, 2023.
