Job Description:
Are you ready to join the dynamic team at Pepsico Park CDC Snacks? We’re looking for a dedicated Storeman to manage our inbound loads and ensure the efficient operation of our receiving location in Germiston, Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
Manage inbound loads from Isando, Parow, Prospecton, and co-manufacturers, approximately 18 loads per shift, with the flexibility to handle more.
Ensure all stock is receipted and properly put away, with accurate scanning and staging of pallets.
Verify and sign GRV and Pre-Advice documents to acknowledge stock receipt, including Chep transactions in the system.
Ensure proper documentation is signed, dated, debriefed, and handed over to the inventory controller daily.
Conduct accuracy checks on inbound loads and document discrepancies, including confirming expiry date information.
Assist in weekly and monthly cycle counts, reporting any stock shortages or surplus pallets to minimize losses.
Accurately receive returns from locations and match them to GRVs for processing GIT claims.
Maintain organized receipt and storage of stock, ensuring accountability at all times.
Uphold excellent housekeeping standards to minimize safety hazards.
Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12) is required.
Tertiary qualifications are preferred.
Knowledge of company safety regulations.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both with colleagues and team members.
Minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role.
