Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to join a dynamic team? Midvaal Local Municipality is seeking a dedicated General Worker – Petrol Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our petrol and diesel supply for council vehicles.
Requirements:
Basic Literacy or Grade 10.
Grade 12 will be an added advantage.
Driver’s license will be an added advantage.
Computer Literate (MS Word, MS Excel) will be an added advantage.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Issue petrol and diesel for council vehicles by filling tanks and maintaining accurate usage records for stock control.
Ensure proper stock balance by comparing pump readings with log sheet information.
Conduct regular stocktaking of petrol and diesel, reporting low stock levels for reordering.
Perform dipstick checks in each tank to monitor stock load.
Assist with any other related ad hoc tasks and duties as requested by management (supervisor).
Salary:
Annual Salary Range: R142,608.00 p.a. – R156,228.00 p.a. (Level 13 of a Grade 8 local authority)
Total package inclusive of benefits: R265,897.52
