Job Description: Dairy Learnership Programme 2024
In Raw Milk, Cream Handling, and Storage
Woodlands Dairy is proud to offer a comprehensive Dairy Learnership Programme aimed at empowering unemployed matriculants. This 12-month program is designed to provide a holistic understanding of the dairy processing industry, focusing on key areas such as the Nature of Milk, Milk Reception, Lab Testing, CIP, and COP.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
We are actively seeking applications from:
Unemployed South African Youth
Age Range: 18 – 29 years
Educational Qualification: Matric (Grade 12)
Applicants are not required to possess previous work experience; instead, we are looking for individuals with a passion for learning and a drive to succeed in the dairy processing field.
Programme Duration:
The Learnership Programme comprises both theoretical and practical components, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience. Successful candidates will be engaged in this transformative journey for a period of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Gain hands-on experience in Raw Milk and Cream Handling
Understand and execute Lab Testing procedures
Learn about Cleaning in Place (CIP) and Cleaning Out of Place (COP) techniques
Collaborate with industry experts for practical insights
Participate in workshops and training sessions to enhance skills
