Karyn Maughan did absolutely nothing wrong in reporting on Jacob Zuma’s “medical condition” that saw him miss his corruption trial.
The corrupt former president is trying to intimidate journalists and delay, once again, his day in court.

A journalist, Nick Hedley intimated that the former president ZUMA is trying to intimidate Journalists and delay his day in court. Well, Nicky Hedley was talking in relation to what has transpired in the past few days, regarding the matter that the former president Jacob Zuma has since decided to prosecute the lead prosecutor in his arms deal trial, Billy Downer, and its journalist, Karyn Maughan. According to some reports, the former president Jacob Zuma has accused Downer of sharing his confidential medical records with Maughan.
And in light of the foregoing, Nick Hedley argued that there is absolutely nothing wrong which Karyn Maughan did when she was reporting on Jacob Zuma’s “Medical condition”. However, the state of the South African Journalist, seemingly prompted the ANC veteran Tony YENGENI to engage in a heated debate with Nick Hedley. The ANC veteran told Nick Hedley that he should not lie, because there is no court that has found the former president Jacob Zuma guilty. And Yengeni has even went to the extent of telling Nick Hedley about his racism.
Below is how things unfold between Nicky Hedley and the ANC veteran, Tony Yengeni.
Well, the South African Journalist stated the following on his official Twitter account:
“Karyn Maughan did absolutely nothing wrong in reporting on Jacob Zuma’s “medical condition” that saw him miss his corruption trial. The former president is trying to intimidate journalists Karyn Maughan did absolutely nothing wrong in reporting on Jacob Zuma’s “medical condition” that saw him miss his corruption trial.”
The ANC veteran Tony Yengeni responded as follows:
“Don’t lie. no court has found Zuma guilty of corruption.. Your racism has found him guilty”
And the South African Journalist promptly told Yengeni that:
“The only reason he hasn’t been found guilty is because he keeps coming up with tricks like this to avoid going to court. You can’t be found guilty if you evade the courts”
Yengeni closed the heated debate by saying:
“So you then usurp the role of the court and find him guilty? No journalist has such legal and constitutional power over any citizen”
