LifeLine PMB is calling on passionate, registered Social Workers to make a real difference in KwaZulu-Natal communities! We’re seeking dedicated professionals for a dynamic 3-month contract (1 January 2026 to 31 March 2026) in the following districts: Harry Gwala, uMgungundlovu, Amajuba, uThukela, or uMzinyathi.
As a frontline hero at LifeLine, you’ll provide essential crisis intervention, counseling, and support services to vulnerable individuals and families facing emotional distress, trauma, abuse, and life challenges. Your role will involve empathetic listening, risk assessments, referrals to support networks, and community outreach—empowering lives in rural and urban settings alike. This is your chance to contribute to LifeLine’s 24/7 lifeline of hope, drawing on South Africa’s resilient spirit.
Key Requirements:
Registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Worker.
Relevant experience in counseling, crisis intervention, or community development (NQF Level 8 qualification preferred).
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (travel allowance provided).
Strong communication skills in English and isiZulu; cultural sensitivity a must.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends.
