Position: Forestry Technician (Entry Level)
Location: Various SAFCOL Operations Across South Africa
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planting, maintenance, and harvesting of commercial forests
Monitor forest health and growth to support sustainable yield
Follow safety protocols and environmental management standards
Collect data and report on forestry operations
Collaborate with teams to implement best practices and continuous improvement
Requirements:
National Diploma or relevant qualification in Forestry or Natural Sciences
Knowledge of silvicultural practices and forest health management
Strong work ethic with dedication to safety and environmental stewardship
Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions
Good communication and teamwork skills
