Job Purpose & Dimension
The Business Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in understanding the integration of IT systems within the organization and identifying the best technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This position involves optimizing business processes through workflow and automation technologies, overseeing system installations, configurations, testing, and user training. The analyst will also be responsible for developing and documenting business objectives, data requirements, and processing specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and document business requirements accurately before developing solutions.
- Support and enhance Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Address business needs using current or new applications, including compiling business cases for third-party solutions.
- Maintain and grow internal business systems.
- Build effective relationships with internal clients to develop a joint vision for projects.
- Manage client expectations through proactive communication regarding requirements and changes.
- Negotiate consensus on requirements among stakeholders.
- Educate stakeholders on the implications of their decisions, providing options and alternatives as necessary.

Main Activities
- Analyze business functions to determine operational objectives and output requirements.
- Design new computer systems by evaluating requirements and constructing workflow charts.
- Understand how current and future business needs will impact solutions.
- Improve systems by studying and modifying current practices.
- Support all departments on the current ERP system.
- Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
- Apply automation where applicable.
- Provide user documentation, help desk support, and training.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect operations.
- Prepare technical reports by analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Enhance professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.

Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification with certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
- At least 2 years of experience with Office 365, SharePoint Online, or Azure is advantageous.
