This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for the security industry to join our team on a fixed-term contract.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed Matric certificate.
• Grade C PSIRA registration (mandatory).
• No criminal record.
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the security field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Firearm competency (advantageous).
• Must reside in or around East Rand – Alberton (Alrode) and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Security Officer, your primary duties will include:

• Ensuring the safety and security of the assigned premises.
• Monitoring and controlling access to the site.
• Conducting regular patrols and inspections to deter and detect security breaches.
• Responding promptly to incidents and emergencies.

 

• Reporting any suspicious activities or breaches of security to the Supervisor.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in emergency situations.
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Team player with a proactive approach to security.
