Requirements:
Grade 10 or equivalent qualification with 2 years driving experience.
Valid code 10 (C1)/ (EB) driver’s license and valid PDP.
Ability to work under pressure and as a team, able to work independently.
Proficient in reading and writing with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work shifts and on public holidays.
Capability to drive and operate the tractor.
Duties:
Execute all authorized transportation trips for patients, staff, documents, and other requirements.
Perform vehicle inspections before driving, ensuring proper condition and maintenance.
Report any vehicle defects or accidents immediately.
Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Acts regulations.
Provide professional guidance and advice to enquiries.
Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of government vehicles.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and PDP, and keep vehicles clean and tidy.
Knowledge of transport policies and government fleet management.
Notes:
Use the new Z83 form effective from January 1st, 2021, and fully complete it.
