What are we looking for?
We are looking for an individual who:
Has a Matric qualification or is studying towards an Early Childhood Development Qualification.
Possesses relevant experience in a similar position, showcasing a strong foundation in childcare.
Demonstrates a passion for working with children, bringing an energetic and positive approach to their work.
Can assist children with homework, fostering an environment of academic support.
Is child-friendly and exudes a genuine passion for the well-being of children.
Maintains a clear criminal record, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our learners.
Responsibilities:
As an Aftercare Assistant, you will:
Create an educational atmosphere in the classroom, promoting a conducive learning environment.
Take responsibility for school equipment and stock within your control, ensuring their proper maintenance.
Collaborate closely with teachers in the Phase to facilitate the effective running of educational activities.
Manage, plan, assist, and promote teaching and learning within the class, contributing to the holistic development of learners.
Engage in planning and promoting extracurricular activities, including sports and cultural events.
Be flexible to assist with sports and other administrative duties as needed.
Demonstrate a personal commitment to Christian education and align with the values and ethos of the school.
