Job Description:
Boland TVET College is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Marker Checker to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the college’s assessment process. The Marker Checker will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our education system by verifying the marks allocated to answer scripts. Requirements:
Matric or Equivalent qualification (NCV L4)
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans/isiXhosa
Strong numerical skills
Exceptional organizational abilities
Honesty, integrity, and reliability
Ability to work independently and with trustworthiness
Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
Review answer scripts to ensure the accuracy of marks allocated by markers for each question.
Verify that all allocated marks are accurately transferred from the answer book to the mark sheets.
Confirm that calculated marks are correctly recorded on the tabulated grid of the cover page of the answer book, following the guidelines provided.
