Requirements:
To be eligible for this learnership, candidates must meet the following criteria:
South African citizenship with at least AET Level 4/Standard 7/Grade 9 educational qualification.
Age between 18 and 35 years.
Willingness to participate in interviews conducted by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) as part of the selection process.
About the Learnership:
This learnership program is a collaborative effort between the employer, learners, and the training service provider. It is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience in the field of agriculture, with a strong emphasis on both theory and practical training.
Theory (30%): Participants will receive a solid theoretical foundation, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills in agriculture.
Workplace Training (70%): The majority of the program takes place at our state-of-the-art DARD facilities, where learners will gain hands-on experience in agricultural practices.
During this phase, participants will receive a stipend to support their journey. Accommodation, meals, and transportation during this period will be the responsibility of the learners.
