Purpose of the position:
To capture incoming clinical, structural behavioural and IES related data on client rendered services from the facilities, mobile and outreach teams; maintain electronic database/s for data captured; check data correctness, completeness, consistency and verify data by liaising with relevant staff and performing routine data quality checks and assessments.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent
1 or more years’ related experience and/or training in HIV/AIDS and STI programmes; or equivalent combination of education and experience

3 years’ experience with HIV, AIDS and STI programme data
Certificate in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook – emailing) and internet (for research purposes)
Certificate in database management and ability to conduct analysis
Experience in data capturing, maintaining and/or updating databases

TIER.Net and information management background
Fluent in English and a local language
Valid driver’s licence and driving experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare PrEP folders – specifically getting all the stationery ready and ensuring that there are sufficient client folders “pre-populated” with the correct stationery and providing it to the clinical teams.

Enter newly initiated clients on the CommCare database from source documents (this should preferably be done over two days in the week to avoid a back-log).
Update client information on the CommCare database from source documents (this should be done regularly each week to avoid a back-log).
Capture data at catchment facilities where required on Tier.net PrEP module (regularly as determined by M&E department).

Capture clients from PP_PREV interventions on the PP_PREV database – P4.
Ensure data captured from the preceding day is cleaned (using RDQA data cleaning steps) and verified against source documentation.
Assist with the HTS and PrEP RDQAs as determined by M&E department.
Assist with data verifications (incl. HTS and PrEP) as required.
Assist M&E Coordinator in providing monthly data to THC management, DoH / partners / stakeholders.

Assist to update results from NHLS on PrEP files/ database.
Attend workshops, meetings and trainings as required.
Ensure compliance to POPIA and THC related SoPs.
Assist with site visits.
