The department of Labour is trying by all means to give UIF to people who are claiming. But there is an issue going around.
The number of unemployed people increased and that resulted to an increase in the number of people who are visiting department of labour to claim their Unemployment insurance fund.
The unemployed insurance fund is the money given to people who are nolonger working and most people who are unemployed is the youth of South Africa.
The department of labour in most KZN areas decided that the young people should apply for UIF using their phones.
They said because there are so many people who wants to claim, they will give online application to the youth and help them when they are facing challenges.
They told the youth to start the process of filling UI19 and other required forms. When they are done with that, they should call labour and hear the next step of the online application.
This will require a data because no one can be able to get online without an internet connection.
To be able to apply using this option, you need to be told by your nearest Department of Labour to do exactly that because the way forward with the process of you application will come from them.
Not all labour are using this procedure but some of them in KZN are already started doing it.
