MPs and calls for the hiring of assistants are shocked

MPs are calling for them to continue to work full-time for helpers who come to schools in this area, to ease the burden on teachers every day.

They said the assistants employed under the president’s job-building program, have done a very good job and are helpful.

Good job.

We are enthusiastic about the creation of 18,000 job opportunities and other members who have come up with the proposal, who say those who are profitable.

The Director General of the department, Mr Mathanzima Mweli, agreed with MPs, saying it was something they had been talking about for some time.

He said it was a matter that the Minister of The Department, Ms Angie Motshekga, had repeatedly submitted to cabinet.

Assistants work for a few months, and then hire others to find job opportunities.

Also lamented is that those who have already worked under the program are allowed to work again under the program, which is considered new.
