The government created a programme to assist unemployed youth. Their aim was and still is to employ unemployed youth with or without matric. This programme has helped a lot of people who became breadwinners at home and the nice thing about it is that the youth who benefited was not paying any rent or transport but they were walking to work.
In some schools, they were not carrying lunch because the food was from school. They managed to save and they are still using that money to go around searching for employment opportunities.

The Government decided to recruit new youth for phase four and this is a great idea, however South African youth who are qualified to become assistants in most areas are rare as we all know that there are few to no youth who can stay in rural areas while they passed Matric. Those who passed Matric are in schools and others are in big cities for employment and this is negatively affecting the employment of phase four.

The next step that the government is looking forward to is known as selection. The government will reveal the list of people who will be going for interviews and they must be people who are walking to school. The Government will not be able to take people who are staying far from school. The challenge of having close to no one who has grade 12 in the area will be found after the selection.

If someone applied and is interested to be part of the programme the next step is to keep their phones open for calls. There will be interviews and you cannot go to an interview without being called. When you are going for an interview be prepared and use the formal dress code.
