Key Responsibilities
Drive light trucks and vehicles up to 16 tons safely across local routes, delivering farm supplies, equipment, and produce to clients or facilities. Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain logs for fuel, mileage, and maintenance, and adhere to all road safety regulations including PrDP requirements. Assist with loading/unloading goods, report any vehicle issues promptly, and support farm teams during peak seasons.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Code 10 driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) and at least 2 years of relevant driving experience in South Africa. Matric certificate preferred; strong knowledge of KwaZulu-Natal roads, basic vehicle maintenance skills, and a clean criminal record are essential. Reliable, physically fit individuals who prioritize safety and teamwork will excel.
