Role overview
As an ECD Learner, you will assist qualified practitioners with daily classroom activities, including setting up learning corners, facilitating play‑based lessons, supporting language and numeracy development, and supervising learners during indoor and outdoor activities. You will also help maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment, contribute to classroom displays and resources, and participate in assessments and progress reporting under guidance.
Minimum requirements
South African citizen, currently not studying and unemployed.
School education: Grade 10–12 completed or equivalent qualification.
Genuine interest in teaching young children and building a career in ECD or foundation phase education.
Willingness to commit to the full 3‑year learnership, attend scheduled training sessions and practical placements, and adhere to programme policies.
