Key Purpose of the Role

This Learnership leads to a nationally recognized FETC: IT Technical Support qualification, combining structured learning components with practical workplace experience in the IT Servicing Team.

Areas of Responsibility

• Desktop support
• Hardware engineering
• Digital support (Contact Centre)

Education and Experience

• Essential: Grade 12
• Subject Requirements:
  • Maths (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
  • English (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
  • Maths Literacy (Minimum Level 5 – 60%)
  • 2nd Language (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
• Advantageous: Incomplete tertiary IT qualification

Specific Requirements

• Must not be engaged in post-matric studies or formal employment
• Must not have completed any previous Learnership
• Age between 18 and 30 years
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic computer skills, particularly in MS Excel and MS Outlook
