Job Description
FlySafair is seeking a dedicated and professional Security Guard to monitor and control access to and from our facility. The successful candidate will ensure that only authorized personnel, vehicles, materials, company assets, and consumables are permitted to enter, move within, and leave the premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the FlySafair facility.
- Ensure that only authorized individuals and vehicles are allowed on the premises.
- Assist with the removal of violators from the premises when necessary.
- Remain vigilant for signs of criminal activity or disturbances and engage with relevant stakeholders.
- Report any suspicious incidents and/or activities promptly.
- Conduct regular patrols of all facilities and perimeter as required.
- Assist with ad hoc duties as needed.
- Conduct general searches of vehicles and valuables entering or leaving the facility.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Certification: Security Certificate (Grade C) is essential.
- Experience: Basic security knowledge; aviation knowledge is advantageous.
- Availability: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
