Job Description
The eThekwini Municipality is offering a unique training opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in Freight Handling at NQF Level 3. This learnership program is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of freight handling over a period of twelve (12) months.
Eligibility Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Code 8 or Code 10 driver’s license with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- Proof of residence in eThekwini
- Valid South African identity document (ID)
- South African citizenship
- Unemployed status
- Passion and interest in Freight Handling
- Motivational letter explaining why you should be selected
- Age between 18-35 years
- No prior participation in a similar program
Selection Process
Applicants may be subjected to various assessments as part of the recruitment process, including:
- Written assessments (numeracy and literacy)
- Verbal assessments
- Medical assessments
