Job Description:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Centurion store team. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our store’s cleanliness to uphold Dis-Chem’s hygienic standards. Your responsibilities will encompass various areas including the store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to creating a welcoming shopping environment for our customers.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
Grade 12 / Matric
A minimum of 6 months’ cleaning experience
Proficiency in the English language
Basic customer service skills
Knowledge of an additional language that is area-specific
Willingness and availability to work retail hours
Special Conditions of Employment:
Ability to work retail hours
Physical fitness for tasks such as walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, and lifting objects
Reliable transportation or residence in close proximity to the store
South African citizenship
Clear credit and criminal records
