Lesufi took to his Twitter account to say the following ” Kindly ignore, this is fake news! One-day fake news will lead to a civil war. It’s time we establish legislation to manage it”.

” The fake report claims I presented the report at t Basic Education Portfolio Committee. How can when I am not even a Member of Parliament, I don’t even know the name of this publication”.

Lesufi denied all claims however, people who saw his post, demand that he tells the truth and expose who much he spends per migrant learner per year. ” For some reason nna I believe it. How much does government spend on one learner per grade per year on education. And our Constitution says everyone has the right to education. Even illegal immigrants. So how much are you spending on them. And how many of them are in your schools”.

” So many have fallen prey as a result of propaganda.some ended up hating people that they loved and should loving.some of us cant hate people on their behalf askies”.

It really should not matter how much money the government is spending on migrant children. At the end of the day, education should be a public good and everyone has a right to study, including the children of migrants in South Africa.
