Reference Number: MOT240917-11 Motus Toyota Bedfordview is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our team, reporting directly to the Manager of parts. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring the efficient operation of our parts department.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management:
- Receive, unpack, check, and store all incoming stock in the correct bin locations.
- Ensure all parts are free from damage and that part numbers match labels before binning.
- Maintain accurate bin locations as per Toyota specifications and standards.
- Documentation:
- Ensure the Admin department receives all relevant documentation with necessary signatures.
- Pick parts according to computerized invoices and hand them to authorized personnel.
- Quality Control:
- Examine outgoing parts to ensure they are free from damage before delivery.
- Maintain accuracy in picking and binning processes.
- Warehouse Maintenance:
- Adhere to safety and security policies set by the company.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.
- Inventory Assistance:
- Assist with perpetual and periodic stock counts.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required.
- Standards Compliance:
- Ensure personal dress code aligns with Toyota standards and maintain personal hygiene.
- Be available for overtime during stocktaking periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Grade 12.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Clear criminal record.
- Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Toyota standards is preferred.
