We are committed to empowering young individuals by providing them with valuable work experience and skills that will enhance their employability.

Programme Overview

The YES Programme offers 12-month workplace opportunities for unemployed youth, allowing them to gain practical experience in a retail environment. Participants will receive work readiness training and support throughout their placement, with the potential for permanent employment upon successful completion.

Who Can Apply?

• Youth aged between 18 to 29 years.
• Individuals with a minimum of Grade 10 (Matric preferred).
• Must not have been employed permanently with a single employer for more than one year.
• Should not be studying full-time during the year of employment (April 2023 – March 2024).
• Must not have participated in or been registered on the YES programme before.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers in finding products.
• Perform cashier duties, including processing payments and refunds.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Participate in stock management and inventory control.
• Engage in training and development activities as part of the programme.
