Purpose of the Job:
Medirite Plus Moreleta Park is seeking a dedicated Stock Controller to ensure optimally maintained stock levels. This role involves accurately accepting deliveries of incoming goods and facilitating the smooth flow of goods to the trading store, distribution center, and suppliers. To thrive as a Stock Controller, you need in-depth expertise in inventory management and prior work experience in the retail industry.

Job Objectives:
Accurately receive goods by comparing them with the invoice.
Timely capture invoices of received goods on the system.
Ensure goods delivered match the invoice in terms of quantities, variants, and conditions.
Process all returns to suppliers in line with company SOPs.
Maintain an orderly storeroom.
Assist in managing and controlling high-risk stock.
Identify and report discrepancies to the manager.
Return unordered or damaged goods and complete credit notes as per company policy and SOPs.
Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy boxes and offloading pallets.
Assist with other duties and departments as needed.
Qualifications:
Essential: Grade 12 qualification
Experience:
Essential: At least 1+ years of relevant experience in a retail/FMCG store operations environment in a similar role.
Knowledge and Skills:
Background in Retail/FMCG and in-depth knowledge of stock management principles and best practices.
High attention to detail.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Office 365, and SAP system.
Sound numeracy skills and excellent communication skills.
