Full Job Description:

As a pivotal member of our team, you’ll be entrusted with the crucial task of ensuring seamless handling of customer inquiries, store card applications, correspondence, and employment verifications. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for efficiency and professionalism.

 

Qualifications:

 

Grade 12 Certificate

Minimum 1 year of call centre experience, preferably in a new accounts environment

Proficiency in industry legislation including Consumers Protection Act, POPI (Protection of Personal Information Act), National Credit Act, and ICASA (Independent Communications Authority of South Africa)

Responsibilities:

 

Address customer queries, correspondence, and needs promptly to uphold exceptional customer service standards and prevent backlogs and complaints

Conduct telephonic verification of employment and personal details to ensure accuracy of information provided on store application forms

 

Maintain updated customer details in relevant Debtor’s systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of customer database

Process store card applications across all divisions, focusing on expanding customer and credit base (applicable to outbound agents only)
