The Municipality invites applications for the following positions in the Technical & Community Services Division:
Position: EPWP Casuals X 40
Salary: Rate (R 111.76) per day
Duration: 5 months fixed-term contract
Directorate: Technical & Community Services
Available Positions:
IG Pothole Patching – 12 positions (All wards)
Solid Waste – 12 positions (Ward 1, 5, 6 & 7)
Office Cleaners – 6 positions (Ward 1, 5, 6 & 7)
Office Plumbers – 2 positions (Ward 6 & 7)
Road Rangers – 8 positions (Ward 1, 5, 6 & 7)
Minimum Requirements:
Able to read and write
Interpersonal and good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Physically fit
Key Performance Areas:
Pothole patching and construction of sidewalks
Assist in street sweeping and the collection of refuse
Clearing of Municipal Offices
Control of stray animals
Assist in general plumbing services
Any other duties as outlined by Supervisors
