Fidelity Services Group is recruiting a Creditors Clerk for its Cape Town branch, offering a permanent role ideal for a methodical and numerically accurate candidate ready to manage the accounts payable function. Reporting to the Bookkeeper, the successful applicant will ensure timely processing of supplier invoices, accurate ledger maintenance, and smooth payment cycles that keep the organisation’s suppliers and operations running without interruption.
The position requires at least two years’ experience in creditors systems and reconciliations and a solid grounding in accounts-payable processes. Candidates must hold a Matric certificate and be fluent in both English and Afrikaans. Practical proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential—especially Excel—while familiarity with SAP and Keyfleet systems is advantageous. Own transport is required due to the role’s Cape Town location and the expectation to attend the branch regularly.

Daily responsibilities include receiving and checking payment requisitions, matching purchase orders to invoices, following up on discrepancies between vendor statements and invoices, and ensuring supplier banking details are accurate before payments are processed. The Creditors Clerk will capture invoices in SAP and Keyfleet, prepare monthly accrual journals, manage petty cash and related cash book transactions, and load payments onto the online banking system. Regular supplier reconciliations and a monthly creditors ageing analysis will support timely, approved payments and help resolve queries from creditors and internal staff.
The role calls for strong administrative skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the capacity to perform under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Interpersonal skills and professional communication are important, as the Creditors Clerk will liaise with suppliers, colleagues across departments, and management. Independence and the ability to work without supervision are also key, alongside a commitment to self-development and teamwork—core competencies valued at Fidelity.
Fidelity Services Group emphasises merit-based appointments while encouraging applications from Historically Disadvantaged and Disabled Candidates. Interested applicants should include their salary expectations and submit CVs by 30 November 2025 to Caronelle at Caronelleb@fidelitysecurity.co.za. This opportunity suits an organised, finance-focused professional eager to contribute to an established security and investigations firm and to grow within a supportive workplace
