This role is essential for supporting our engineering services, including water purification, sewer management, and electrical services. Requirements:
- Grade 10; Grade 12 is an added advantage.
- A valid Driver’s License is an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be bilingual.
- Preference will be given to applicants residing within the Midvaal area.
- Ability to follow and execute given instructions.
- Good physical health and basic skills for performing physical work.
- At least 1 year of experience as a general worker in Engineering Services within a Local Government Authority.
Duties:
- Load and offload materials and equipment safely.
- Set up traffic signs to warn traffic about workers during excavation.
- Maintain cleanliness in and around the working area using various manual labour tools.
- Perform any labor-related tasks as requested by the supervisor or superintendent.
- Execute all legal instructions from the supervisor to ensure productivity.
- Complete any other related ad hoc tasks as required by management.
Salary: R140.85 per day (Fixed Term Contract for 2 years)Additional Information:
