### INVITATION OF APPLICATIONS FOR EXAMINATION ASSISTANTS (EA’S) FOR NOV/DEC 2024 MARKING SESSION

The Department invites applications for Examination Assistants (EA’s) for the 2024 NSC marking session, which will run from December 1 to 14, 2024. Successful candidates must be available for the entire duration.

**Criteria for Applicants:**
– Must be a South African citizen with a Grade 12 certificate.
– Must be registered at a tertiary institution (at least for the alternate year) or be unemployed graduates.
– Must be between 18 and 30 years old with no criminal record.
– Preference will be given to the most indigent applicants.
Applications are welcomed from circuits, NYDA, and tertiary institutions. Application forms should be distributed accordingly.

Appointments will be made at Head Office to ensure fair distribution of employment opportunities and prevent bias.
**Required Supporting Documents:**
– Grade 12 certificate/statement of results and ID copy.
– Proof of current tertiary enrollment and latest statement of tertiary results.
– Copy of tertiary qualification(s).
– Short Curriculum Vitae.

**Submission Details:**
– Individual applications may be submitted to Head Office (Public Examinations & Assessments in Valencia).
– Applications can also be submitted to District or Circuit offices or posted to the address on the letterhead.
– Tertiary institutions and NYDA may submit directly to Head Office or post applications.
