Role Description:
Join us in the YearBeyond Little Explorers ECD Programme, dedicated to supporting Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centres and households within local communities. This initiative aims to foster pre-school children’s literacy and gross motor skills through a blend of storytelling and physical activities.
What do YeBoneers do?
YeBoneers play a vital role within the Programme, operating in ECD centres where they conduct weekly literacy, gross motor, and fine motor sessions. Additionally, they extend their support to households, engaging with children who are not enrolled in ECD centres.
Please note: This opportunity is exclusively open to individuals who have not participated in any YearBeyond programme previously.
Role Requirement:
What are the eligibility requirements?
To apply for the YearBeyond Early Childhood Development Little Explorers Programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Age: 18-25 years old
Education: At least a grade 10 qualification.
Residency: Reside in or near the areas where the programme operates. Cape Town
Passion: Demonstrate enthusiasm and a genuine interest in working with pre-school children.
