Forklift Driver with Administration Skills
Main Function:
Ensuring packaging/raw materials are correctly and efficiently loaded out of the Packaging Store per order and requisition documents
Key Performance Areas:
• Transfer of Packaging/Raw materials between warehouse and other locations
• Must do pre trip inspections and complete relevant documentation
• Loading and unloading of stock with relevant documentations for deliveries
• Must have excellent knowledge of Material codes, descriptions and quantities
• Must be able to receive and issue correct Materials to and from the factory
• Adherence to QMS standards and Health/safety regulations
• Responsible for maintaining forklift in good state
• General tasks when required include cleaning, sweeping and housekeeping of the Store
• Transfer of Packaging Materials between stores and other locations of the Factory
• Loading and Offloading of Trucks
Minimum qualifications/competencies/training/experience required by the position:
• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
• At least 1-2 years’ relevant working experience essential
• Qualified Forklift Driver in possession of valid license
• Should have a mechanical aptitude
• Prepared to work overtime
• Team player
• Computer Literacy
• Oracle knowledge required when checking for stock on hand and replenishment of stocks
• Be able to work under pressure
