The veteran ANC member criticizes Nicky claiming that only his racism has proven Zuma guilty, and that no competent court of law has found the former president guilty of any corruption.

Tony Yengeni remarked, “Don’t lie. No court has convicted Zuma guilty of corruption. Your racism has found him guilty.” Additionally, he has already denounced the court decision that sentenced former president Jacob Zuma to prison for contempt of court.

Despite the fact that the minority judgment on that ruling had said that Zuma’s constitutional rights were being violated, Yengeni bemoaned the unfairness of the legal system and claimed that Zuma had been the victim of special laws created just to deal with him.

In response to Tony Yengeni, journalist Nick Hedley claims that Zuma’s continued failure to appear in court is the sole reason he has not yet been found guilty of corruption. One of the detractors who charges the former president with employing Stalingrad’s strategies is Hedley.

You can’t be found guilty if you elude the courts, he claimed. “The only reason he hasn’t been found guilty is that he keeps coming up with tricks like this to avoid going to court.

Supporters of Zuma are upset that the former president is being accused of something for which no court has found him responsible. According to Tony Yengeni, no journalist is authorized by the constitution to accuse another citizen of a crime.

Tony Yengeni remarked, “No journalist has such legal and constitutional jurisdiction over any person. So you then usurp the job of the court and deem him guilty.”

Whether people like it or not, the ex-president Jacob Zuma should be held to the legal standard of innocence until proven guilty.
