The DA charged EFF members with intimidation and assault after punches were thrown during a marathon 12-hour Johannesburg council meeting that was eventually suspended.
The situation inside the government premises deteriorated as top officials went to fight each other, there was a lot of chaos when the Economic Freedom Fighters were involved, and this has definitely caused many people to be concerned about the way that things have been going.
The Democratic Alliance members did not just sit back and let the EFF members fight them; they also tried very hard to defend themselves because they couldn’t let such a situation turn out the way it did; this is clearly unacceptable, and it had led to a situation in which many people wanted to ensure that it could be fixed.
We cannot possibly allow such things to occur. Political leaders should be working together to ensure that the country is moving in a direction that we can all support. This would be far more advantageous to the country than them pursuing their personal grudges, and the public is very concerned that they are instead busy attacking one another.
Many people don’t understand why the leaders can’t control their emotions and lead the way they should because the officials are fighting among themselves, but it looks that they regularly allow their emotions to get the best of them.
When they are meant to be fixing the issues that the citizens of this country are facing, they sadly end up fighting in parliament, and you can see that this is undoubtedly something that a lot of people can agree on.
